Delroy Stewart and his father fled their country, Jamaica to America , when he was a very young child. Since, he was in the care of his father. From four years old to 19 years old, his father watched him grow up to be a young man. His father took the responsibility of being the only one in the care of his son. Through kindergarten, Elementary, Middle school, and High school , Stewart’s father helped guide him in the right direction and pushed him to be successful. Usually, disagreements happened between children and their parents , especially during the maturing age where a child develops into an adult. Stewart decided to walk away out of his father’s care because of conflicts with his father ‘s punishments.
